Hotel-Restaurant Inselhof in Reichenau

We were 6 days in this cozy hotel that has such a nice, attentive service including great tips for day trips - family atmosphere - a delicious breakfast that left nothing to be desired - even if you reordered - you were greeted with a friendly and happy "good morning" welcomed. A special compliment goes to Fr Müller, who answered questions with the patience of an angel - Mr Ott-Penzkofer prepared a scrambled egg because I would like to lean in. It was so delicate - Fr Ott-Penzkofer presented himself as a walking history book to which I take off my hat and answered historical questions with joy on our faces - the rooms were very comfortably furnished and very clean - my personal conclusion - the next vacation is planned in this hotel

Super satisfied! Great lake view with a perfect location.

It is a cheek that I have never experienced before! I was just dismissed by phone without any effort to get a satisfied guest. I booked my wife for two nights for her BIRTHDAY. Now I wanted to ask again whether this might still have worked with the lake view - by the way, the lady on the phone wanted to confirm this to me by phone - unfortunately it never happened. I was shocked to find that the days were simply swapped from Fri-Sun and it was booked from Sunday to Tuesday. I said factually to the man on the phone that I'm angry now without underlining this emotionally - since the only thing he had to say is - we are fully booked and that he wants to hang up. When I asked: Um, and what now: Should I tell my wife that there will be nothing with your only 2 days off a year on the weekend ... No answer - we are fully booked. I don't wish you anything bad, but you can't !!! You didn't even apologize. I've never written a bad review, but that's a cheek !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. There is the possibility to rent bicycles. Good bedding. No catering on site. The breakfast is hearty but lacks quality.

Beautiful place

As a hotel on the island Reichenau beautiful from the outside to look at and from inside too. Since we were only there to visit someone, we were welcomed. You also get nice ideas for day trips.

We were a guest for a week. Very informal atmosphere, friendly and always helpful service. Excellent hotel to relax and unwind. We will be back!

The hotel garni is very nice. Not far from the lake. The rooms are large, equipped with TV, telephone, safe, free Wi-Fi. The bathroom is also big. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, something for everyone. Price, performance good. Nice personel.

Nice hotel with a little older flair. Very good breakfast. We had a room with a great view of Lake Constance. Very nice lakeside terrace and lawn, which belong to the hotel.

An all-round successful stay in spacious, lovingly furnished rooms and in the overall mood of the hotel as well as a very rich breakfast offer we really liked it. Especially worth mentioning is the great service and the very friendly staff. Here our son and we were allowed to have a very warm experience. Thanks again to the whole team. A good traditional german hotel ,great breakfast with good food and drink,beer garden ,weather permitted,quiet location,comfortable rooms and friendly staff.Two points to note,english word is not good but you can get by and there is no evening or night life in Reichenau except small cosy restaurants.If you want peace and quiet this is the place.

The rooms are large and nicely decorated, service was OK. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but there was no hot food. WiFi in the room was bad underground.

Hotel rooms are above average size and very lovingly and in detail furnished. There is also a piano available to hotel residents and a computer. A total of 5 stars.

Sauce not spectacular, pork fillet only moderately exciting, only the salad was really convincing. Plus good service and a nice ambience with a view of the lake.
